The Short Answer: Yes, It Is Cosmetic-Grade & Skin-Safe
The ink we use is specifically formulated for use on the skin. It is cosmetic-grade, non-toxic, and FDA-compliant.
While no product can be 100% “hypoallergenic” for every single person on earth (as some individuals have extremely rare sensitivities), our airbrush ink is designed to be gentle and is used safely on thousands of children and adults every year.
Why Our Ink is the Professional Choice:
• Alcohol-Based (Not Latex-Based): Our professional inks are alcohol-based, which means they do not contain the common allergens found in latex or low-quality “stick-on” tattoos.
• Hybrid Formulas: We use high-quality hybrid inks that are water-resistant but breathable on the skin.
• No PPD or “Black Henna”: Unlike some temporary “black henna” products found at beach resorts, our ink never contains PPD (paraphenylenediamine), a chemical known to cause skin blistering and reactions.
• Sanitary Application: Because the ink is applied via a fine mist through an airbrush, our equipment never actually touches the skin. This makes it a much more hygienic option than traditional brush-and-water face painting.
Safety for Sensitive Skin
If you or your child have a history of extreme skin sensitivity or allergies to cosmetics, we recommend a “Patch Test.” 1. We apply a small dot of ink in an inconspicuous area (like the inside of the wrist).
2. We wait 15–30 minutes to ensure no redness or itching occurs.
3. If the skin looks clear, we proceed with the full design!
